When the planet of action enters his fiery home turf on March 12, it’s all systems go. This is a welcome surge of energy after slogging through the Pisces planetary infusion of the past few weeks. Consider the fire officially lit. All of those dreams you’ve been conjuring since the end of February are ready to be put into fast forward motion.

One caveat: this is not a patient Mars. Yes, we’ll be feeling the thrill of speed, and can fly through daily tasks and conquer tall buildings in a single bound. However, speed can also kill, so be sure to look both ways before crossing the street or diving into a concrete wall that you mistake for a soft landing pad. Haste will definitely make plenty of waste during this fast and furious influence.

Patience will be in very short supply, so if you’re one of those Sunday drivers or people who hog the sidewalk while taking your sweet time, look out! You might want to consider picking up the pace for the next few weeks to avoid getting run over by the nearest Fire sign.

But … if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to get off your lazy bum, this is it! Mars in his home Fire sign insists that you move your body lest you wish to suffer from headaches and other symptoms resulting from backed-up frustration. The fact that Mars moves into the go-go-go sign of Aries on the same day of the new Moon is a serious mandate to make exercise and discipline a part of your daily schedule.
