"Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else."

J.M. Barrie

Now that the planet of action has moved into the sign of hard work as of October 15, expect to get a lot done between now and December. Our industrious sides are about to kick into full swing now, and it will be hard to sit still. We'll feel guilty if we aren't being productive.

There's also a tendency to worry about every little thing, which can wreak havoc on our nervous systems. We'll need plenty of alone time to decompress from the frenzy. Mars in Virgo can also trigger our critical instincts -- for better or worse. Everyone will feel more sensitive to criticism, so try not launch into a litany of all that's wrong.

When you notice flaws -- and you will under this influence -- the best approach is to focus constructively on how things could be improved. Don't harp on the negative. Another positive application of Mars in Virgo energy is to focus on improving our health and daily rituals as we're more apt to put energy into those things now. Of course, working yourself to the bone won't do wonders for your well-being, so it's a tradeoff.

Try to find ways to work hard but rest harder. You may want to avoid stimulants during this time as the nerves are already working on overdrive. If you feel yourself obsessing over all of the details to the point of neurosis, remember to breathe and make plenty of lists. As long as you have a working plan, there's nothing to fret over. The work will get done.
