Mercury retrograde
With the good, comes the, well, less-than-convenient Mercury retrograde occurring August 2nd through August 26th. Be on high alert during this period for Murphy’s Law-esque mishaps and miscommunications -- plans will be foiled. Mercury rules communication and electronic devices so you have probably been noticing bad connections or dead batteries. Make sure your phone is turned on if you are expecting an important call and double check your flight schedule if you are traveling. 

Also, do not sign any important agreements or start any new projects during this period because they will not hold. It is fine to continue with your important tasks but prepare for minor setbacks. Most importantly, make sure not to panic when these annoying interruptions occur. Be good to yourself and take things in stride because any problems you are experiencing will ultimately be resolved.

Things may be a little shaky for the next few weeks but the good news is that Mercury retrogrades offer us a time to organize and reflect. This retrograde period occurs in Sun sign Leo and we are inspired to contemplate what is close to our heart. Soul-searching is the key word here. If you have been unsure or battling with what you really want, you’re feeling the fire more than ever to address this. Take this time to make preparations for the big things you want in your life because you have Leo’s powerful influence to help you take action.
