Mercury Conjunct Venus in Pisces: Forgiveness & Healing

After last week’s Mercury-Mars merger, it will be a welcome gift to have the retrograding messenger join teams with the love goddess on March 6. Our minds will not only be creative but also more prone to embracing sweet and compassionate thoughts. This could be one of the most forgiving influences imaginable. Our thoughts will tend toward ways of connecting with those we love.

Romance and relationships will flood our minds under this watery influence. Pisces is all about our longings and desire for the sublime version of love. We may not be thinking clearly, per se but we will be thinking with out hearts and not with our heads. This is an excellent time to trust your intuition and your “take the high road” thinking. It’s also an excellent time to think in terms of images -- photography, cinema, etc. Music and song lyrics also appeal under this subtle but inspirational influence. Make time for music and anything that connects you back to spirit. It’s a beautiful thing when our minds and our thoughts show us how to bridge the gaps rather than how to remain separate and judgmental. In fact, this is one of the least judgmental of pairings.

The only downside to this current influence is that we may not be using our best discrimination and can tend to believe what we want despite the facts or evidence to the contrary. Watch out for any tendencies towards delusions of grandeur. It’s beautiful to indulge in fantasy as long as you can tell the difference and make healthy choices when reality testing is needed.
