Mercury Direct in Pisces: Dream Into Action

Admit it, you’ve been counting the days for Mercury to come out of retrograde. Your brain has been foggy, you’ve been sloshing through the confusing morass of the non-verbal realm of Pisces. You can’t get out of bed to save your life. All of your checks, bills, paperwork and other miscellany are lost, misplaced or simply missing in action. You have no idea where you money has gone since February 23.

Although the shadow phase of this retrograde is not complete until April 6, you can still breathe a huge sigh of relief as Mercury goes direct on March 17. But we’re just venting the complaining side of Mercury Retrograde. Some of these complaints are certainly exaggerated clichés, and overlook the positive attributes of a Mercury Retrograde phase.

For instance, we finally have a chance to slow down and repair the area of our birth chart that Mercury is transiting. Look to where Pisces falls in your chart and you’ll see that there has indeed been some major renovation, revision, release and repair work over the past few weeks. There’s always a gift -- you just have to look deeper than the surface chaos.

If you’ve had a chance to delve into your dreams -- either while sleeping or awake -- you’ve no doubt seen a glimpse of the powers of Mercury Retrograde on the plus side. Why do we shun the opportunity to backtrack, revisit and repeat? This is the way we refine and perfect the process.

Mercury in Pisces reminds us that life is not linear but cyclical. Now that Mercury is direct, we can put all the lessons of the past few weeks into mental practice.
