“Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?”
-- Fleetwood Mac
It’s challenging enough when the planet of communication goes backwards February 23 through March 17, but add to that the murky influence of Pisces. Have you ever tried to talk while submerged in the sea, or listen with your ears filled with water? Brain fog is sure to be a daily phenomenon despite copious amounts of caffeinated beverages of choice. Synapses feel soggy and misunderstandings abound.
Pisces is the sign of projection, so you can expect people to spew their angels and devils on their most intimate others over the next few weeks. Boundaries are a big blur, so people could easily say things that would be better left unsaid, or with a more appropriate audience, or at a better time. Chaos prevails in the realm of communication, so it’s best to go with the flow. Forget trying to make any rhyme or reason out of rampant insanity. You can’t talk to crazy.
The best way to use this influence is to embrace the non-verbal realms or more symbolic realms of communication, like poetry, dance, photography, paintings or music. Believe it or not, these will deliver more clarity than words now. The intention and feeling behind words is what counts now, and it’s what people will feel. Body language and energy speaks volumes. There is an oceanic feeling in our minds as we sift through the debris of our past.
Mercury retrogrades have a tendency to invoke nostalgia but while under the Pisces influence -- the most emotional of all signs -- and you can imagine the prevalence of crying jags. As always (and especially during this particular Mercury Retrograde) it’s best to hold off on major life decisions or committing to major contracts. Track your dreams and keep your boundaries firm to preserve sanity over the next few weeks.
