Spiritual messages keep coming about these days that we are living in and how we can best navigate these times by being flexible. The Angels showed me another example this week using a momma bird on why this is important.
This has been a month of extreme weather and I have been right smack in the middle of it experiencing tornadoes for the first time in my life. Coming from Florida, I am used to hurricanes. I will take a hurricane any day of the week. At least you get days of warnings for hurricanes and can see them coming. Tornadoes just pop up wherever the weather conditions are right. They are over in seconds or minutes but the damage tends to be severe as if they had been hanging around for hours.
Before the most recent storm hit our area, I saw that there was a momma bird, a robin in one of our trees. The branch that she had made the nest on was one that was in between several other branches. On that branch she was almost at the very tip of the branch. Her nest was so thick with leaves and pine needles that it was almost too big for the branch. I was concerned that her nest would get easily knocked out of the branch with the high winds that would be coming. The Angels told me not to be concerned.
Then the storm came fast and furious. We had winds up to 70 mph. A little twister came through my yard tearing apart a tree in our yard and many across the street. When I saw the storm damage, I immediately went out to check on the momma bird, thinking there was no way she could still be there. But she was and her nest and eggs were just fine.
The Angels said that by putting her nest at the end of the branch where she would sway back and forth, she did her best in protecting her family. If she had made her nest in the tree on the branches that didn’t move, she would not have survived.
Animals know instinctively where to go and what to do. They listen to what Mother Earth is saying. If you ever watch the animals, you will have a head start on natural disasters and Earth changes. But we can also learn to be flexible in everything not just in the storms of our lives.
How do we do that? We can remember to take a deep breath before answering someone. If someone is trying to engage us in a negative way, we can feel comfortable not reacting. There is so much fast and furious energy all around us that at times it seems to want to force us to do things in that timing and not our own. And that can lead to regrets. Remember you never have to do anything until you are comfortable and ready. Your heart and soul will guide you to keep you on the highest and easiest path. Listen within. You do know what to do.
Blessings of flexibility ~Christina
