Necessity is the Mother of Invention

How can you possibly cope with less money? After all, life can seem bleak with poverty seemingly nipping at your heels. But there is a way to make more out of less if you use your imagination: Do you have that special knack of dreaming up schemes to improve your lifestyle -- while cutting your spending? It all depends on your Sun sign.

The two most inventive signs are Aquarius and Pisces. Being ruled by Uranus, Aquarius always remembers there is a solution to every problem -- and their agile brains will think one up fairly rapidly. In their essence, Aquarians are hippies, so they fancy the simple life with homegrown vegetables and hand-knitted socks.

Pisces has a different kind of thought pattern, but can usually be relied upon to have a "eureka" moment that brings an answer to their dilemma. If they can't afford a theater outing, they'll happily wander around a free art gallery, and with their great love of music, they're often fine with simply putting their feet up at home and listening away the hours.

Taurus and Scorpio may not have grand imaginations, but being the the hoarders of the zodiac, they never throw anything away. They'll happily recycle much-loved clothes from the past that have been lurking in their wardrobe.

Since they're wildly sentimental, Cancer is also a pack rat, clinging onto old outfits along with memories of where and when they were worn. Stepping back in time is a real pleasure for them, so they won't feel deprived if they have to recycle possessions of yesteryear.

Virgo, Capricorn and Libra are not quite such accumulators, but they do adore quality, so they tend to hang onto certain apparel items for years. Since their tastes lean toward the traditional, they'll always have what never goes out of fashion -- and if it does, it's sure to come back around at some point, so they'll never be short of an outfit!

Aries, Gemini and Sagittarius always have a plan for every eventuality. Their attitude tends to be: If this isn't working, then perhaps that will. And if times get tough, well, they'll just have to factor that into their thinking. They dislike boredom, though, so they'll have to concoct a scheme to provide surplus funds for the odd escapade.

Leo despises not being able to impress with a little flash, so they'll be thoroughly discouraged by financial restrictions. They tend to dig in their heels with the hope that life will brighten up again, but what they need is an inventive partner to show them how to cope with a pause in their glitzy lifestyle.
