The Sun and Moon meet up in the magnanimous and generous sign of Leo on August 6, giving us all a welcome dose of childlike awesomeness. This is an exceptionally creative new Moon as it aligns with the breakthrough, trailblazing energy of Uranus in Aries. We can solve problems that we've been struggling with for months. Expect some fabulous "a-ha" moments and flashes of sheer innovative genius.

The planets are setting some powerful ground to launch our next six months of creative projects, so take the bold initiative and get your art out there. There is also a very fated feeling under this new Moon as the nodes of the Moon are forming a powerfully fixed, stubborn and determined t-square with the Scorpio-Taurus axis in our charts. The missing "leg" is Aquarius, so it's important to align with like-minded souls, community or whatever formation you consider your tribe at the moment to really carry our creative vision to the next level. We need our friends and allies more than ever before.

This new Moon requires all of us to get in touch with the passion of the heart and courageously forge ahead with both innocence and self-confidence. Look to where Leo is in your birth chart to see where your creative fires are about to burn brightly for the next six months. Give this one up to your inner child: paint on walls, dance on ceilings, break the rules -- whatever it takes to get you into your fierce, fixed, fire energy!
