November Eclipses on target

The mid November Scorpio Solar Eclipse certainly did its bit in digging up sleaze. Washington was agog with the Petraeus sex scandal. Australia has been prompted into holding a judicial inquiry into child sex abuse across a range of institutions. The UK is wincing with horror stories about child abuser Jimmy Savile, now dead, once the most famous DJ and television entertainer in the country, plus a raft of other child abuse stories re-emerging from care homes.

The Scorpio Eclipse was also on target for both Gaza and Israel. The Gaza, 9 Nov 1917 9 am chart has a Scorpio Sun and Israel a Taurus Sun – both of which were and are seriously rattled by the Eclipse. The Eclipse effect often kicks in before the exact date itself and extends for the few months thereafter. The next Solar Eclipse in May 2013 falls in Taurus.

The upcoming Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) on 28^{th November with a 6 degree Gemini Moon opposition Sagittarius Sun also falls exactly on the Ascendant/Descendant set for Gaza so the uneasy ceasefire will feel exceptionally fragile. This Lunar Eclipse is also rattling the explosive, angry Mars square Uranus on the Egypt chart as demonstrations break out over President Mursi’s increasingly dictatorial grip on the country.}

Eclipses also have a personal effect on everyone depending on which house in the birth chart they fall and what planets they aspect.
