Barack Obama is making a push for job creation in the wake of gloomy employment figures and attacking the die-hard Congress right wingers who oppose tax cuts for the middle and working classes. His personal chart – birth time being exactly accurate – has tr Neptune in a lack lustre and indecisive square to the Midheaven from early September to early 2012. Though if he was born a couple of minutes later then that aspect would hit directly in August this year and again in Jan 2012. But whichever – he’s in a generally undermining period as far as career direction is concerned. He’ll buck up in late November through December this year and again next September with tr Pluto sextile his Sun/Jupiter. The interesting and worrying question is what the rapidly approaching Solar Arc Pluto square Mars is all about on the USA chart – exact within weeks. Normally one would assume it was a disaster of sorts especially since that Mars in natally square Neptune which the Solar Arc Pluto makes a conjunction with in late 2012. So it’s a longish period of devastating stuckness, confusion and panic with risk involved. Plus there’s a jolting, jarring, tension erupting Solar Arc Saturn conjunct Uranus exact in 6th months’ time. The financial situation is certainly teetering at the moment. And the US Federal Reserve chart does have the highly agitated tr Uranus square its normally resolute Saturn Pluto conjunction in Oct/Nov which suggests a major shake up with a highly pressured Solar Arc trine Pluto also exact in two months’ time. And worse to follow in 2012 with a panicky-failure tr Neptune square Mars as well as tr Neptune trine Solar Arc Sun. The Obama Admin chart has a surprisingly cheerful Solar Arc Sun conjunct Jupiter nearing exact this month but there’s also a bad-tempered setback from tr Saturn square Mars and then square Solar Arc Mars in Oct when there’s also tr Uranus square the 8th house Pluto which sounds like a financial upheaval. That latter repeats in January 2012. In mid 2012 the Obama Admin Midheaven is conjunct the Sun which looks like better prospects with a comfortable and popular Solar Arc Moon sextile Jupiter later in the year. But for all that it’s going to be trying times financially for the USA as well as for most other of the Western countries. Carol Bartz, CEO of Yahoo for the past two and a half years has been fired by Yahoo. Born 29 Aug 1948 she’s a Sun Virgo with a tough, determined and none-too-co-operative Mars in Libra trine Uranus, both sextile a midpoint Saturn in Leo. Her Pluto in Leo is in a confident trine to Jupiter in enthusiastic Sagittarius. She was never that comfortable a fit with Yahoo – 1 March 1995 – despite both have Jup in Sag. Her Pluto was conjunct the Yahoo Mars in Leo making for a hostile interface and her argumentative Mars was square the Yahoo Uranus Venus Neptune so her presence wouldn’t make for a quiet life. The relationship chart has a rather bleak composite Sun Saturn trine Pluto with an evasive, confused- communication Sun Saturn opposition Mercury Neptune; plus a potential-for-disruption Uranus opposition Pluto. That unstable opposition is being jolted by tr Saturn conjunct Uranus at the moment and by a challenging tr Pluto square Pluto this year. Yahoo is a creative, hard working though often self-doubting Pisces new Moon conjunct Saturn in a wobbly square to Jupiter in Sagittarius; with an adventurous and lucky Jupiter trine Mars in Leo. It is in a minor quandary at the moment with tr Neptune opposing its Pluto eroding its influence; and tr Uranus conjunct the Solar Arc Saturn creating the odd jolt. It’ll have a further slide in confidence through 2012 but should pick up strongly by 2013/14 with tr Pluto sextile Sun and the lucky tr Uranus trine Jupiter.
