Is an Oscar Win in Johnny Depp's Future?

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hits theaters today, marking Johnny Depp's fourth go-around as the iconic swashbuckling pirate Captain Jack Sparrow. Over his stories 25-year career, Depp has won many accolades, including Golden Globes and People's Choice awards. But though he's been nominated for three Academy Awards, he's never basked in the glory of an Oscar win. Will that ever happen?

As a Gemini with Leo Rising, Johnny is heading into a two-year lucky period, during which anything can happen! June 2012 until June 2013 will mark the most fortuitous period for Depp, as Jupiter, the planet of luck, moves into his Sun sign and could bestow any number of surprise possibilities that alter his image in a positive light. This means that over the next year, Johnny will achieve a big-time victory in his career; in other words, he may want to start prepping that Oscar acceptance speech.
