Ah, spring has sprung, you suddenly spotted a pet you couldn’t resist and have brought it home without telling your lover first. To put it mildly, they're not happy. How will you lure your partner into submission and convince them that this little bouncy ball of fur really should move in?
Aries will stamp their foot and say, “Love me, love my pet, or else!” They’re not the best at putting themselves in their lover’s shoes. It’ll be a battle of wills but Aries is always determined to win.
Taurus will just ignore the fuss, assuming that if they stand their ground long enough their partner will give in, which they usually do. Then the Bull will cuddle them into submission.
Gemini will produce a glittering array of persuasive words, not letting their loved one get a word in edgewise. They’ll argue it this way and that, with a hundred great reasons why the new pet should stay.
Cancer will threaten to cry -- not just because their wishes are being ignored but at the thought of having to let go of a poor orphaned pet. The hardest-hearted lover will have to eventually melt.
Leo is used to making decisions around the house and making their presence felt. They’ll be puzzled about why their partner should be objecting to what they want. They’ll sulk ominously until they get their way.

Virgo will be less likely to produce an impulse pet though they are the sign most associated with small animals. They’ll point out that their partner knew they wanted one so can hardly complain. They’ll analyse the objections to the point where their nearest and dearest will just give up.
Libra will have thought out in advance the best way of smooth talking their partner into agreeing. They’ll ply them with compliments, even the odd present, have on their sexiest outfit and pour them a drink. But will make it clear that their charm only extends as far as an agreement that the pet can stay.
Scorpio is the past master at the art of manipulation and will have their strategy carefully worked out. But if their string pulling doesn’t work, then they’ll dig their heels in hard. Partners will know only too well that they won’t win so might as well give in gracefully.
Sagittarius will throw their exuberant enthusiasm around in support of their inspired idea of bringing home a pet. Any arguments against will be loudly and abruptly dismissed. But they’ll look so happy about the idea that partners will not have the heart to dent their high spirits.
Capricorn usually has a strong say in what goes on at home so will be inclined to get heated if their wishes aren’t accepted. But they are also aware that partners can get very moody which they dislike. They’ll try to bribe them into acquiescence.
Aquarius is fairly ambivalent about pets since they aren’t naturally practical. They know that partners will get the heavy end of the responsibility of feeding and caring so will do all they can to sweet talk them into seeing it really was what they wanted.
Pisces tends to approach disagreements sideways and isn’t above emotional manipulation when it comes to getting their own way. They’ll get misty eyed and forlorn, look bereft, tug at their partner’s heart strings. They usually succeed.
