Paul and Nancy - adventures ahead

Beatle Paul McCartney has just posted banns in London for his third wedding to take place within the month. His fiancée Nancy Shevell, born 20 November 1959, is a Sun Mars Scorpio so fiendishly determined, and that conjunction squares Mars so she really doesn’t like compromise and feeds off constant excitement and a high adrenaline flow. She’s probably got a Cancer Moon and Venus in Libra in a socially charming sextile to Jupiter. Her North Node is in Libra in the 8^{th so she doesn’t find one-to-one relationships that easy. Her Pluto is in a confident though intense square to Jupiter Mercury and a persevering trine to Saturn.}

Paul McCartney, born 18 June 1942 2pm Liverpool, England, is a Sun Gemini conjunct Jupiter in Cancer with Venus in Taurus and a Mars Pluto conjunction in Leo as well as a Leo Moon. Although a public figure he seems to be obsessively secretive and quite controlling in his family life.

His first wife Linda was a Sun Libra with Moon Venus in Scorpio so he is clearly drawn to the Scorpio energy partly because of his Venus in Taurus and partly with that Mars Pluto. With Linda it was definitely a love match with a composite Sun Venus conjunction though not easy with a Moon Neptune trine Saturn Uranus (Mars). But her Jupiter was at his Midheaven so she clearly helped him gain in status and reputation.

This relationship with Nancy probably has a Moon Venus conjunction which is nurturing and a mutually supportive and an enthusiastic Mars Jupiter conjunction and a Sun Jupiter conjunction as well – so there’s lots of exuberance with it though there’s also a composite Saturn opposition Mars Jupiter Sun which will put a damper on morale – perhaps because of work issues or just defensiveness.

But it is certainly easier than his 2nd marriage to the bizarre Heather Mills – a Sun Capricorn, Moon Gemini and Venus in Sagittarius with probably Uranus Pluto in the 8th.

His road ahead looks a touch bumpy with tr Uranus trine his Mars Pluto this year into early 2012 and a jolting tr Uranus trine Saturn in 2012; plus an over hopeful tr Neptune trine Jupiter also in 2012 – though that could be work and finance as well as marital matters. Oddly enough his progressed Venus is just over the conjunction to his Saturn this year – perhaps what made him serious about commitment. But he’ll also get the uplift of tr Pluto trine his Solar Arc Jupiter in 12/13 which should help to offset any other blips.
