Neptune is direct once again in Pisces and this is a good thing because it may allow for faster resolution or completion of a project or problem, specially for a water sign like Scorpio. Do not be swayed negatively by those whom you share emotional information and then stay quiet and don't know what to do or say to you after your put them on the spot.  You should not react immediately or get upset, give them the benefit of the doubt and you will realize that sometimes other people are a little more cautious to get on board with an idea or simply do not see the great things you are capable of seeing.

To celebrate post-Veteran's Day weekend, I am sharing with you a cocktail that is as refreshing as a fall evening and is perfect for the fluctuating weather we are experiencing. While is not a traditional American cocktail, it represents the openness of our society to embrace other flavors and cultures. Prepared with Pisco, a Peruvian brandy, the traditional recipe calls for ginger ale and lime. In this case, it is called a Chilcano. I am going a little further and replacing the ginger ale for ginger beer, making it sort of like a "mule." So, I will call it Pisco Llama, to honor the cute roaming animals of Peru.

Pisco Llama (a.k.a. Pisco Mule)

  • 2 ounces Pisco
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 2 drops of bitters

Pour ingredients over ice in a highball glass and carefully stir. Enjoy with friends and tell them how much you love them.
