Prince Harry - an Earth Fire dynamo

Prince Harry, spare to the heir of the heir to the British Throne, Prince Charles’ second son, is in hot water over nude photographs taken at a Las Vegas party.

 

Born 15 September 1984 at 4.20pm in London he is a Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon with a Capricorn Ascendant so is very earthy, grounded in his body and the material realm. Another three planets in Sagittarius make him an Earth Fire temperament which gives him endless energy for life and for adventure.

 

He is a curious mix of dutiful (Saturn conjunct his Midheaven), highly impatient and hyper-active (Sun square Mars) and compassionate (12^{th house Neptune Jupiter).}

Virgo men can be very sexy and since his falls in his 8th house he has a tinge of Scorpio to give that extra intensity. The 8th house also gives him a strong connection to grandparents and he shares the Queen’s obsessively conscientious Saturn in Scorpio on the Midheaven – though hers is more exact and emphasised. His strongest bonds and his stability really come from his father/family and his grandparents – 4th house Taurus Moon trine 8th house Sun.

 

With transiting Saturn rising in his chart in recent years he has – almost – lost the drunken playboy image of his early 20s. The tough military Apache training over the past 18 months has really made a huge difference to him – and that was tr Saturn through his 9th.

 

But a strong Saturn on the Midheaven does take time to mature. He’s moving towards his first Saturn Return in 2013 – usually a turning point - with tr Saturn moving into his 10th next year as well – so he will become increasingly responsible.

 

His chart is very much upper hemisphere so his energy will be directed towards career and outer-world activities rather than highly personal ones. He’ll always have a tendency to go off like a loose cannon at times with that Sun square Mars and needs to watch his alcohol intake with a 12th house Neptune which is quite addiction-prone. But he’ll do increasingly well and once Pluto crosses his Ascendant from 2013 onwards he’ll have even more influence – and insight.

 

He has an especially solid, affectionate and adventurous relationship with his brother Prince William who is a New Moon in Cancer with Venus in Taurus. In their relationship chart there’s a composite warm-hearted Sun Venus conjunction trine a lively Uranus Jupiter. It’s also argumentative with composite Sun square Mars so I’d imagine there’s a fair amount of friendly competition goes on – and they do appreciate having space from each other as well as together time. But behind all the fun they are very aware of the duty which binds them with Saturn Pluto square Mercury.

 

However Prince Harry will still have to retrieve himself from this latest debacle. HM Queen Elizabeth, his grandmother, is certainly not amused. That relationship chart has transiting Saturn conjunct composite Neptune at the moment and then tr Saturn square Jupiter in late September. That will take the shine off their together moments. Plus there’s a disappointed tr Neptune trine composite Moon at the moment as well.

 

That relationship will be under considerably more pressure come 2013 with tr Pluto and tr Uranus both in hard aspect to their composite Sun. Though that may be internal family pressures given HM and Prince Philip’s advancing years and/or him returning to Afghanistan on active duty.

 

Chelsy Davy was almost certainly the love of his life but she felt she could not cope with the public pressures. She helped calm him down and he probably does need a wife to settle him. I’d look to 2015 for his next significant committed relationship which is when his Secondary Progressed Moon goes into his 7th, often a time when people feel the lack of a partner more keenly. At that point tr Uranus is opposition his Venus so it may happen suddenly. Plus tr Jupiter is then going through his 8th which is often a time of deepening intimacy. And his Solar Arc Venus is conjunct his Midheaven.

 

He does have Venus in the 9th which can suggest a foreign bride – Chelsy Davy was Zimbabwean. On his astrocartography his Venus Descendant line goes through Russia and down through Iran/Oman which doesn’t sound too suitable. His Venus Ascendant through the mid to west of Canada/USA. His Venus on the IC through eastern Australia. And his Venus Midheaven just covers the tip of eastern Brazil. So you can take your pick and wait to see.
