Got soul? I think it's ironic and downright sad how many people play games with and hurt each other, while saying they're looking for a soul mate relationship. Are you kidding? We need to be soulful with everyone to attract a soul mate - that's the definition of the word! We can't be all 'Oh I don't care about him' with one guy, and then expect our soul mate to walk in. Soulfulness is a constant way of being, not something we only do with certain people. So put your soul into it. That's how the Universe recognizes your soul mate vibration.
The astrological Moon is the soul and heart of our birth chart, and our self. Today, the Moon is in Cancer, which supports acts of self-nurture, love, tenderness and soulfulness with others - but you can do these soulful practices anytime.
-Put love into your food. Cook with soul. Have you ever had soul food? Can't you taste the soul?
-Listen to soul music. What does you soul want to hear? James Brown? Marvin Gaye? Nina Simone? Can you feel their soul rock yours? Enough said.
-Look into another's eyes. Really look. Can you see and sense the soul behind their eyes? Isn't it a precious gift to be able to see their timeless essence? To experience the timeless bond of being with our Beloved, we need to get familiar with being that tender & open with others. Maybe you've met someone with shifty eyes who grows uncomfortable with being this seen & beheld. The eyes are windows to the soul.
-Hold that thought. Just stay in your heart. I love this line by Rumi so much that I painted it around a window frame in my house: "Close the language- door and open the love window. The moon won't use the door, only the window." I practice this a lot, especially when I'm feeling emotional and trying to speak (argh!) it's so much kinder on everyone to just sit with your heart for a few minutes and ask your heart what it's feeling, what it wants. Here's the whole poem.

night, I open the window and ask
the moon to come and press its
