After many years of public speculation over his sexuality, Ricky Martin finally declared, “I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”

In Hollywood, many fear their careers will nosedive after coming out -- but will the consequences for Ricky be negative or positive? Chances are, this will actually boost the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer’s career, as it’s been a while since this Capricorn with a Gemini Rising has been in the public eye. And since his career house is lighting up with Jupiter (planet of luck), rest assured Ricky is just starting to build momentum.

While the news isn’t so shocking to many fans, his proclamation puts the father of two back on the map and will lend more attention to his upcoming ventures: his tour, album, memoirs and humanitarian efforts.
