We’re in the homestretch of the Presidential elections, with a tight race. Obama and Romney finished up their last debates, and now their fates are up to the viewers. With Saturn now in Scorpio in America’s solar natal house (ego), another cycle of hardships needs brilliant steering. Who has the stars on their side?
As a Cancer Sun and Aquarius Moon, America is born under influences that make it nurturing, yet intellectual. With mostly Water and Air elements making its composite, both candidates actually do have something of value to bring to the presidential plate.
Romney is also Water and Air, and can understand the nuances of what this country should be about. He feels his way through things and is a methodical man. Plus, his mid-heaven is in Aquarius, which gives him an innovative spin on how he wants his plan to unfold. However, he has no Earth signs in his chart, which means he isn’t very well-grounded.
Obama on the other hand is a Leo, with mostly Fire and Air, and a small mix of Earth and Water. This gives him more of a strong, independent-thinking ability, while Romney prefers to consult with others before stepping up. Obama’s think-on-your-feet style works well with the shy Cancer chart of the U.S., as Obama is able to make – and stand by -- more unique choices.
So, depending on what kind of change a voter would like to support, this difference in each candidate’s approach to issues should be a major factor in who to vote for.
