The royal baby is on the way this summer and will be shaking up the dynamics of Buckingham Palace in a major way. Being the first of a new generation to enter the scene, what will the new heir bring out in her (or his) family? Who will want nappie duty and who will bring the earplugs when visiting the little bundle of joy?

PRINCE CHARLES

When it comes to his grandchild, Charles will exhibit parenting skills he never had with his sons. Born under Scorpio, the sign of intimacy and transformation, he will take a more nurturing role in the baby’s life than protocol would assume. In fact, this baby will help Charles show off his soft side to the public, which will endear him in a big way -- upping his popularity to an all-time high.

THE QUEEN

The Queen is a Taurus, and that means this lady isn’t up for change. Although she has made new amends for the newest royal -- as in allowing it to be in line to be the ruler of England whether it’s a boy or a girl -- her concerns about the baby will have to do with the monarchy and its future. For her, updating tradition is the way she’ll show her love, as she isn’t one for displays of affection.

PRINCE HARRY

Although some assume Virgo Harry will be the crazy uncle who introduces his niece or nephew to the party life, many will be shocked to learn he will actually be a source of discipline. Not to say he won’t be fun, but he’ll take being an uncle seriously. This baby will straighten up Harry’s act, as he’ll want to be a good role model. For him, teaching by example is what he wants to bring to the next generation, making him take on a more mature rank now.

PIPPA

Like Harry, Pippa is a Virgo and will play a big role in the new baby’s life. She’s a giver, thriving on helping others, and will likely be a second mother to the baby. However, she knows her place, and will always defer to Kate and William. Being their biggest supporter will be her first priority, and then bonding with the baby. She’ll take her role as aunt seriously, wanting to teach the baby the world from a practical point of view.

CAMILLA

As step-grandmother, Camilla will always have love and kisses for the baby. A Cancer, she was born to nurture and will take a traditional grandmotherly role -- like jumping in to cuddle the baby to sleep. However, her relationship with the heir will develop slowly, as Cancers feel their way into a situation before settling in. That said, since she and the baby will likely share the same Sun sign, there will be an innate connection between them and Camilla will become one of the baby’s strongest protectors.
