Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick: Solid as a Rock?

As a celebrity couple, speculation over a break-up can rarely be escaped -- things are no different for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. Even though they have been married for more than 14 years, the Hollywood couple is under the media’s microscope. Are they set up for failure or success?

As it goes, both Sarah Jessica and Matthew are Aries Sun and have their Venus, planet of pleasure, in Aries. This makes their compatibility strong, as in moving at the same fast pace, preferring new ideas over old ones and knowing how to keep their individuality while being in a couple. Plus, they have a compatible Mars -- with hers in Virgo and his in Pisces -- making them work well as a team, as those are complementary signs.

Despite the strong foundation, during the last year (and stretching into October 2012), Saturn (the discipline planet) has been in Libra and has likely tested all Aries in their relationships, no matter what other planets are in sync with their partners. This can and may continue to be a trying time for the pair. The good news is that they are both considered “early Aries” and if Saturn was going to take them down, it likely would have happened already. So, until the next Saturn cycle hits in seven years, they should be just fine.
