Strength in Numbers as Sun in Aquarius Trines Mars in Libra

It’s that time of year again -- the Sun is in the groundbreaking, relentlessly intellectual sign of Aquarius. Even though it’s symbolized by the Water Bearer, Aquarius is an Air sign, which means it's all about concepts -- and genius ones at that. If you have any Aquarian colleagues, you know they have a penchant for coming up with out-of-the-blue, out-of-the-box ideas that tend to blow everybody away.

Mars, the action-planet, has been in Libra -- the sign of social graces and partnership -- since last December. Mars has a lot to learn from this constellation, particularly how to make his hard-driving disposition more palatable to other people. He tends to let his ego fill up the whole room, but not when he’s in Libra. He must learn to share everything, even credit for his ideas.

When the Sun in Aquarius gets together with Mars in Libra in a helpful trine aspect this month, you’ll get by with a little help from your friends … and co-workers. This is not the time to toil away in your office alone. It may be the very best time of the year for a brainstorm. Even if you’re a freelancer who works from home or the local café, tap your social network and crowdsource your ideas.

If you work in an office, meetings can be the source of some of your juiciest creative inspiration. Be open-minded, and entertain even the ideas that seem totally wacky at first. With the entire group providing input and bouncing thoughts off each other, you may just end up with one of the most brilliant, revolutionary concepts your office has ever encountered.
