Sun Enters Aries: Spring Awakening

When the Sun moves into Aries on March 20, it’s like a total rebirth for mind, body and spirit. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and signifies all-things new. We have completed one whole zodiac cycle and we are ready to start all over again. 

This always brings a serious surge of new fire into our lives, welcome heat and inspiration. All beginnings start here. We feel that fresh burst of energy like the buds breaking their first ground. Everything is brand-spanking new again. We’re ready to take risks and wear our hearts on our sleeves. Our unbridled, childlike passion and enthusiasm returns and we’re ready to embrace all that life has to offer with full fiery presence. 

This is always a much welcome transit after the dark, murky last days of the Pisces season. It’s like out of the birth canal into life. Just like the end of winter, everything gets slushy, muddy and old. We are so ready for the new, for the return of life. We suddenly want to be outside, on the go and getting back into shape. Aries is ruled by Mars, and is the most physical sign of the zodiac. This is the time of year when we crave physical release, excitement and new challenges more than ever. It’s like a fire has been lit and we are ready to go!
