Get ready to completely buck convention on Sunday, August 10! This summer's second Super Moon (the closest to Earth of three this year at 221,765 miles away) is a full Moon in anything-goes Aquarius. The whole weekend will be rife with opportunities for you to get your freak on -- especially in the bedroom ... or, for that matter, any other place that turns you on!
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the planet that seeks freedom at all costs. If nothing else, Aquarius adores rebellion, daring to be different urgently and often. Because Aquarius energy is motivated by the needs of the group rather than the individual, it can appear cold and detached.

But that's not really what's at the heart of this sign. It just seems that way because the polar opposite of Aquarius is Leo (where the Sun is currently creating the backdrop for this full Moon). Leo lives to be adored, or just to be liked. The Lion needs to have its ego stroked constantly.
When you pull away from the Leonian energy and honor the Aquarian part of the axis -- as you should this weekend -- you can more easily analyze your emotions. Aquarius doesn't covet other people's property, and doesn't really understand jealousy. Everything belongs to everybody -- even when it comes to love and sex. That's why a full Moon in this sign is such an amazing opportunity for sexual experimentation.
If you currently have a lover or long-term partner, don't be shy about asking to have your fantasies fulfilled. Now more than ever, you can try new things without judgment -- in and out of bed. A full Moon in Aquarius is the best lunation of the year for breaking out of sexual ruts.
Here's the caveat: this full Moon is square to Saturn, a planet that does indeed like to judge, and sometimes does so harshly. Whatever you propose -- from naked yoga to partner swapping -- just make sure that you and your lover are totally onboard before going forward. As wild as this weekend can get, you don't want to have any full Moon regrets.
Prepare to wave that freak flag, and wave it mighty high. This full Moon in Aquarius was meant for breakthroughs!
