Tarot Date Night
Got a date with some hot new thing, or just want to revive the romance in your current relationship? Tarot can be a fun and creative tool to add a little zing to your next night out. Draw on the wisdom of this ancient form of divination to plan a date to remember. All you’ll need to get started is a deck of tarot cards and a notebook. You can plan your tarot date night on your own and share later with your loved one, or the process can be part of the date itself and together you can plan the night ahead. Whichever you choose -- this is sure to be a night to remember!

Steps for a Tarot Date
1. Spread out the tarot cards face up and choose the ones that most appeal to you based on their colors, images, etc. Pull three cards that entice you most and put them aside. If you are doing this exercise with a partner, you can each pull two cards.

2. Take the cards you’ve chosen and turn them face down. Close your eyes and let your hands pass over the cards and then pull one card. Turn it right side up and take a look at your “Tarot Date Night” card. You will use the images on this card to plan your date.

The Card: The Empress is shown outside in nature, surrounded by lush imagery and animals. This is a card of sensuality, pleasure and enjoyment. There is nothing stuffy or uptight about this card, so keep your date uncomplicated and straightforward.
The Date: Plan a picnic or hike to a beautiful spot. Bring fruit, wine and other treats. To elaborate on the sensual theme of the Empress Card, you may want to book a couples massage.

The Ten of Discs Date
The Card: This card represents a group of people and animals in a communal environment. It represents family and established ties from the past.
The Date: This could be the “bring them home to Mom” date. If you feel it’s time to introduce your sweetie to the parents or your group of friends, then make the most of it. Plan a special treat to bring as an offering to whoever’s house you go to, and dress on the safe side, rather than wearing a “va-va voom” outfit.

Three of Cups Date
The Card: Three women dancing around a tree. This card represents fun shared with others, ease and enjoyment. The cups symbolize emotions, pleasure and memories.
The Date: This card inspires a date that you may want to share with others. You could invite a few friends along on a wine-tasting (going with the cups theme) adventure or host a beverage event in your home.
