Thursday's Taurus New Moon is a gorgeous time for planting any wish for increase in your life. Taurus is an earth sign charging the principle of earthly pleasures we all enjoy. That's abundance in all it's forms, including material things, sensual pleasures, feeling good & strong in our body, eating fantastic food and having great sex. Taurus is a fixed sign so we're talking sustained pleasure. Venus, the Goddess of Love & Pleasure rules Taurus, so logically, I ask you: what greater source of sustained pleasure and blessed abundance is there than LOVE?!
Growing In Love Spell
Why Do a Love Spell?: If you're one of those people who are tired of waiting around for love to find them, and want to do something, this spell is for you.
When to Do It: Taurus New Moon or waxing Taurus Moon. Taurus energy is fecund, abundant and prosperous, perfect for 'planting' intentions into earth.
What You'll Need: A garden, or a big strong pot in a sunny location. Flowers. Rose bushes are the favorite flower of Love Goddess, Venus, so you'll get on her good side by planting roses. Roses symbolize constant and undying love but they also bring joy and beauty to the beholder. If you plant another flower, be sure and look up it's meaning online (or in my book, A Love Alchemist's Notebook).

Since I had the good fortune of having a garden while doing my love spells, I took full advantage of the opportunity to put the ultimate miracle grow on my roses - love magic. Planting, then tending to a flower is such a great way to care for, nourish and visibly see your wish grow.
I planted my rose bushes with a little spell written on a piece of paper and set into the earth: that I would grow in love as they grew.
As these roses grow in strength, beauty and health, my love will bloom in radiant wealth.
I vividly remember the first night my soul mate and I spoke on the phone for four hours, because it was there while talking on the phone, under the full moonlight, that I noticed my intentional love magic had indeed come full bloom, too: my very first rose, an exquisite white-pink-coral beauty was in full bloom.
