Obviously, the night in February 2009 when Chris Brown physically assaulted his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, his life changed forever. Not only did the young singer's popularity (and sales) plummet, his criminal record also stopped him from being able to tour abroad. Yet, despite it all, Chris isn’t giving up. On Sunday, he staged an intense public display of emotion during his tribute to Michael Jackson at the BET Awards -- struggling to sing “Man in the Mirror,” and choking up over the poignant lyrics.
While the performance may help him gain sympathy, and encourage some to give him a second chance, double Taurus Chris is going to have to work harder, as it’s all an uphill climb now. Thankfully, he’s born under the most stubborn sign of the zodiac, so he's prepared to stay in the game and work his way back. However, his Mars is in Cancer, so it would bode well if he did work that inspires more sympathy, like volunteering, or starting a nonprofit to help mentor young people. Singing and dancing might be his most prominent talents, but if Chris wants people to really care about him again, he needs to wear his heart on his sleeve in more meaningful ways.
