Obviously, getting along with people usually requires some degree of compromise. But you don't want to be a doormat either. It's okay to be mad sometimes, and you don't always have to keep the peace and stay within the proper decorum. Standing up for yourself is sexy, believe it or not.

FIX: When you don't like how you're being treated or when a situation is not to your liking, just say so.
