There is a Lunar Eclipse on June 26th at 5 degrees Capricorn and a Total Solar Eclipse on 11 July at 19 Cancer.
The Lunar eclipse points most clearly to the EU with the Brussels located Lunar Eclipse chart having Sun conjunct Midheaven, opposition Moon Pluto on the nadir/IC, Saturn on the Ascendant and Uranus Jupiter on the Descendant. So it may be that the disintegration process in the EU is hotting up. And, of course, Belgium has just voted in as the largest party a separatist group so it may be an internal matter in Belgium as well. Though it will also ripple through wider Europe. Afghanistan looks a hot area as well.
The July Solar Eclipse is in the 12th South Saros series which Bernadette Brady describes as ‘successful outcomes to long term worries or illness. An issue which has worried or drained the individual for some time will at first seem worse and then clear, with successful outcomes.’ So crossing fingers for the Oil Spill.
The problematic zones assuming planets on the axis are the more important (tho’ they don’t always appear with subsequent events) is Iraq/Iran with Pluto on the MC square Uranus Jupiter Asc opp Saturn Mars Desc. The USA has New Moon in the 10th which is sometimes symptomatic of events following; and Australia has Jupiter Uranus on the MC with New Zealand having New Moon on the Ascendant.
The chart which might shed some light on the whens of stopping the black menace in the Gulf of Mexico is Thad Allen’s. He was Chief Coastguard over Katrina and widely praised for his sensible handling of the aftermath and has been parachuted into the Deepwater disaster by Obama.
Born on 16 January 1949, he’s a practical and ambitious Sun Capricorn with Jupiter Venus also in Capricorn and Saturn in hard working, sensible Virgo. He’s also got an ultra-determined, used-to-high-risk Mars in Aquarius opposition Pluto (Moon).
He looks seriously gloomy and stuck from mid August to mid October this year though with a few rays of hope from a transiting Uranus sextile Mercury/Jupiter in late Aug/early Sept. Where he starts to look much more enthusiastic is with tr Uranus sextile his Mars/Jupiter midpoint from early Nov onwards and then definitely distinctly gung ho come late Dec into Jan 2011; with a much more confident and successful March 2011 onwards. If we assume this is all to do with the Oil Spill then it is going to be a fair few months before it all gets stopped.
