It's a week of shake-ups. Two times each year, Uranus — the planet that sparks change and r/evolution slows down in its process of shifting directions. And when it does, its energy gets amped up and we can see Uranian events all around us.
Thursday, December 13, is one of these days. And so if you've been feeling that this week has been full of surprise breakdowns and breakthroughs, you're likely tuning into the Uranian energies that are revving strongly.
One way to constructively work with these swirling energies is to consider how out-of-the-blue events, while potentially shocking, may also be serving as a fount of insight and wisdom. That's because when we are stopped in our tracks, when things don't turn out as we expected, it makes us question what it was that we expected and whether, in fact, that it was truly in our best interest.

We get a chance to pause, step back, and see a larger picture. And in this reflection we can take a fresh look at situations to see whether there are actually alternative strategies and ways of expressing ourselves that align more harmoniously with who we truly are when we give our selves permission to be who we truly are. So when Uranian events pull you off rote paths consider how these incidents may actually be helping you re-invent yourself, further liberating a greater sense of individual expression.
