USA at odds with EU - banks at risk

Despite all the chat about the Greek bailout being agreed there is still huge internal German resistance to upping their contribution which the IMF and the USA look likely to insist on. Which certainly fits with the Germany/EU relationship chart which has the push n pull tr Pluto opposition composite Pluto starting late this month and running till late 2013. It increases in pressure and indeed disruption by 2013 as tr Pluto is then conjunct the composite Sun and tr Uranus is square Pluto. Germany is tied into the EU at a profound level with that composite Sun opposition composite Pluto – but these present and prevailing influences will test the partnership limits to breaking point.

 

The EU banks, especially in France and Germany, are also flinching mightily with having to write down their Greek debt with annual reports showing major losses. With the Greek commercial banks most at risk obviously.

 

The National Bank of Greece, 30 March 1841, has a whole raft of unpleasant, heart stopping influences – the hugely pressured and blocked tr Pluto square Sun now till late 2013; the panicky-failure tr Neptune trine Mars from May till January 2014; complete breakdown Solar Arc Mars conjunct Pluto late 2012; tr Uranus joins Pluto in hard aspecting the Aries Sun in 2013; 2014 looks broke and 2015 in a further muddled meltdown.

 

The Greek Eurobank EFG, 11 Dec 1990, has tr Pluto and tr Uranus in hard aspect to its Uranus, Mercury, Neptune until after mid decade; with 2014/15/16 looking worse and worse.

 

The major French banks all look mightily stressed. BNP Paribas, 23 May 2000, has the car-crash Solar Arc Sun conjunct Mars this year and the upsetting Solar Arc Uranus square Sun as well, plus tr Neptune square Sun and square Solar Arc Saturn.

 

Credit Agricole, 5 Aug 1920, has the major-shock Solar Arc Sun conjunct Mars now; tr Pluto opposition Pluto and trine Saturn in 12/13/14; with another crash from Solar Arc Mars opposition Sun in 2013 and a panicky-failure Solar Arc Neptune conjunct Mars in 13/14.

 

Likewise Societe Generale is wading through very thick mud indeed, getting more discouraged really till mid decade.

 

Two of the major German commercial banks – Commerzbank and Deutschebank are being forced to recapitalise after the latest bank stress tests. Neither of those charts looks healthy ahead especially into 2013. Commerzbank, 26 Feb 1970, is facing major setbacks now till mid 2012; and is then seriously stuck, short of confidence and cash and being battered by events in 2013. Deutschebank, 22 Jan 1870, is similarly grinding to a halt by 2013 having sagged its way thro’ 2012.

 

 

 

The UK RBS, 31 May 1727, is also taking a major hit from the Greek collapse and it is being jolted every which way by recurring shocks this year with Solar Arc Uranus opposition Mars and Solar Arc trine Uranus. Plus tr Uranus opposing the RBS Pluto and moving in 2013/14 to square their financial Venus which tr Pluto is opposing.
