A Valentine's After Taste: Water Signs

The days just after Valentine's will call for a true celebration of love! With Jupiter conjuncting the love planet, Venus, in creative Pisces on February 16th, you won't want to miss a night of pure indulgence. Start your evening by expanding your lover's palette with his/her favorite foods and spirits. The 16th will be a day of romance you don't want to miss. Here's a list of suggestions on how you create a Valentine's day after taste on this special night!

WATER SIGNS: 

Cancer: Not sure what to make your crab for dinner? Shellfish, of course. Since crabs also rule papayas, I'd suggest a Thai recipe called Green Papaya Shrimp salad paired with a light white wine to please the crab's palette. Cancer loves a beautiful table. Make a center-piece full of fragrant gardenias and jasmine since these are some of the crabs ruling flowers. Don't forget to add the element of water. Place some seashells at the bottom of a clear bowl and fill to the top. Some floating candles added will be a nice touch.
 

Scorpio: Scorpio thinks variety is the spice of life, so whatever you make for this little stinger can't be boring. Scorpio rules aphrodisiacs, so I'd suggest raw oysters and dark chocolate for dessert. If you want to step it up and impress them even more, Oysters in a Truffle froth would really scores you some brownie points. An arugula salad would be a nice touch on the side, since Scorpio rules this leafy vegetable. Pair all that with their ruling drink, absinthe, and you're really talking. All right, so it just so happens absinthe is illegal in the states. Darn it, white wine will just have to do. 
 

Pisces: Ok, if you haven't figured this one out, you're probably not the brightest tool in the shed. The Fishes love brain-food, and no, it's not cannibalism for Pisceans to eat fish. Grilled dover sole with a lemon caper beurre blanc will be right up this fish's alley.  Pair that with a light white wine and you'll tantalize their palette. Turn up the romance with some lavender-scented candles, a lavender bouquet, and some sensual music to stimulate more than their taste buds. Don't forget to play footsy under the table during dinner. Pisceans will love the stimulation on their ruling part.
