Venus Enters Libra: Beauty is as Beauty Does

Venus enters her own turf on October 28 until November 21, bringing all-things sweet and lovely to the fore. The goddess of beauty and love is at her beautiful best when in her own sign. When Venus dons the constellation of Libra, our desire for connection, harmony and one-on-one connection is highlighted. Libra is the sign of companionship and comparison. We understand ourselves through the lens of another. Whether this is through contrast or similarity, we seek to find our inner beauty.
Of course, Venus in Libra is also a time where all aspects of external beauty are in demand. Makeup, perfume and flowers are all Venusian favorites. Trips to the art museum, fine dining and beauty treatments during this period are guaranteed to please your inner Venus. Making time for your beloved significant others is also a way to please your inner Venus while she inhabits the sign of partnerships.
If all of this sounds too girly-girl and fluffy for you, not to worry. Venus in Libra also wields the sword of justice when wrongs need to be righted. She will not tolerate any signs of injustice or unfairness, so you can bet your inner judge and peaceful warrior will rise to the occasion should you detect any signs of maltreatment to your loved ones or anyone you consider to be getting the short end of the stick -- including yourself! We’re more willing to adjust, adapt and accommodate for the “other” during this harmonious influence, but if the scales are out of balance, we will fight with the sword of discrimination and goodness. We can see things through the eyes of the other and are more tolerant, but we realize we deserve the same consideration.
Peace and harmony are dependent on every person doing what is right, just and fair. Ask yourself, “Does this thought, word or action create more beauty, peace and sweetness within me?” If not, don’t go there. Choose the higher ground.
