Happy Birthday Gemini! We are well into sun sign Gemini and things are truly starting to heat up as we approach summer. Talk about planetary action—big change is on the horizon. There’s a new Moon and solar eclipse occurring on June 1 and two more eclipses over the next month and into July. The first two eclipses are during Gemini, the most mischievous and intelligent sign of the zodiac. Believe me, I am already gritting my teeth.
Tread lightly my friends as we head into this eclipse season. Depending on your chart, eclipses tend to put Mercury retrogrades to shame as far as shaking things up so make sure to take note of these important dates:
June 1st - Solar (new Moon) eclipse @ 11 degrees Gemini.
June 15 - Full Moon lunar eclipse @ 25 degrees Sagittarius.
July 1st - Solar eclipse @ 10 degrees Cancer.

What does this mean for everyone? It means change and new beginnings. Eclipses are the most dramatic measures the universe takes to improve our current circumstances. “Wake up!” says the eclipse, “You don’t want this anymore!” as they challenge our natural tendencies and remove us from outworn situations and relationships. Events, discussions and new opportunities will occur to enlighten and bring about an evolution that is most likely long overdue. This is all for a good cause, so remain patient.
If you can, start any important projects after the first of either June or July. Any changes that occur this month in connection with the eclipses will play out through the summer and come to another degree of realization as we approach fall.
Wednesday’s solar eclipse will occur at 2:16 pm PST. With this eclipse and new Moon in Mercury-ruled Gemini, this is a chance to explore and improve how you communicate with others on a personal level. Is it necessary to always be right or find the correct answer? What are you getting out of this? Think about how you connect and put others at ease in your conversations. What can you do to have more fulfilling and enjoyable interactions?
Also to note, this solar eclipse on June 1 forms a trine to Saturn, the “teacher” planet of the zodiac. Trines allow for things to develop quickly and rather effortlessly. Take this opportunity to put your goals and good ideas into action that you want to achieve six months from now. Saturn works with you to learn and succeed so stick to these plans. Your hard work will eventually pay off.
However with this series of eclipses occurring in Gemini, sticking to any plan may be problematic. You may feel distracted and not sure which way to go. Making up your mind will be difficult so try to work through this with a relaxed approach. Do your best to not get wrapped up in your work or other activities on the days on and near the eclipses. These days are may be challenging so do what you can to go with the flow and allow for a sudden change in plans.
Stay grounded by attending to any apprehension or restlessness. Take a small trip, communicate or try something new. Be a good Twin and partner with a friend and take a class. Gemini is also about expressiveness so make sure to do what you love and inspires you during the next month. This will help bring you closer to any necessary healing or transformation.
