Weekly Cocktail for Dec. 2: Eggnog Martini to Reminisce

Astrology-based dishes may bring about optimal bliss. Depending on the planetary alignment, the Sun and the Moon, we can prepare delicious recipes to help the capriciousness of the Stars! 

The Moon is in my sign today, Pisces. I will take this as a sign that my mission in life, and yours too, is to be happy. So, I will take it upon myself to discover, to listen, to observe and to absorb everything I can. I will take special attention to those around me for each person holds a world of beauty that may in fact, touch us and enrich our lives. 

Here is a cocktail that feels like home and reminds me of fun nights with college friends. It also contains the essence of a perfect snowy night in front of a fire place listening to some bosa nova. Let us toast to the Moon in Pisces and to the beginning of what promises to be a passionate, sexy month of December. Are you ready?

Eggnog Martini

1 oz eggnog

1 oz amaretto

1 oz spiced rum

dash of cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and serve in a martini glass. Sprinkle with some cinnamon.
