What Does the Cosmos See in America’s Near Future?

The election is here, and after today (or soon after today; Mercury goes retrograde in Sagittarius tonight and may very well slow the results) we will know who the president will be: Obama or Romney. No matter which one wins, what do the stars see in America’s near future?

If we consider the birth date of the Declaration of Independence, America is a Cancer with a Sagittarius Rising. This means a humbling next three years is on the agenda. With Saturn going through its natal Fifth House and solar Twelfth House, more challenges will surface over the transit -- such as issues hidden from the public. Luckily, America did just complete another Saturn Return, as it is born with a natal Saturn in Libra. It illuminated forced changes in the areas of security and real estate. However, this coming time has to do with past alliances, making amends on bad choices and then transforming its image. New partnerships will manifest, and a more dramatic approach to ongoing issues will come into play. The good news is that after this cycle ends, superstar status will return in a more solid and evolved form.
