What’s Next for Kiefer Sutherland?

Buzz is building in Hollywood that the Fox television network may decide not to bring back the suspenseful hit series 24 for a ninth season. Kiefer Sutherland’s wildly successful show about heroic Jack Bauer revived his career (even in spite of the actor’s troubles with the law), but fans wonder: what will become of him now? Will those rumors of a 24 movie ever become a reality?

Unfortunately for Kiefer, Saturn (the planet of karma) is crossing over his midheaven right now. The midheaven is the astrological point of aspirations and career goals, and when Saturn crosses it, sudden and tumultuous challenges are brought about. This means that what worked in the past won’t work in the future. Kiefer needs to innovate and start branching out into new kinds of roles or genres -- or, perhaps, even go behind the scenes, and take a crack at the business side of the film and TV industry. If the star wants to guarantee that 24 becomes a movie, he’ll likely need to put on more than just his actor hat to make it happen.
