Now that OWN got a boost of attention, can Oprah’s channel get a boost in energy? The fledgling station is now several years into operation, but their numbers are not moving up. While astrologically there were cosmic roadblocks in 2012 for Oprah, new aspects are set for 2013. So will OWN survive?

Lucky for Oprah, she’s having her Jupiter Return now, and serious Saturn is off her mid-heaven. This gives her a breather through June 2013. However, in her natal chart she has aggressive Mars in Scorpio facing down Saturn in Scorpio in her Eleventh House, which rules technology and her aspirations. This will be a fight to the last. She’ll have to prove all that she’s got, leaving her to either win big or lose miserably, as there are never in-betweens with Scorpio transits. So as one battle ends, another begins. This time it’s about using her humanitarian efforts in a new way, mixed with innovation and her associations. OWN will likely last for another year in an uncertain manner, with 2015 being its do-or-die year.
