The Oscar curse is infamous. The statistics with divorce and the Academy Award’s leading ladies, and also with child stars, reveal greats odds for misfortune (think Tatum O’Neal). This year, Quvenzhané Wallis was up for Best Actress but (luckily) didn’t win. That said, will she still fall prey to the nomination curse?
At nine years old, she’s the youngest actor nominated for Oscar, and as a Virgo she’s definitely set for an upward trajectory over the next year. She’s already signed on to star alongside Brad Pitt, and will play Annie in the movie remake -- and rightfully so, as she has lucky Jupiter in her career house until June 2013 and a slew of auspicious planets in her contracts house. Chances are good for her to stay ahead of the bad luck, as she’ll also have a series of eclipses helping her along. The eclipses are in her international and media zones, which means many TV opportunities between now and 2015, and films with a global audience. For now, fans can plan on seeing more of Quvenzhané. However, when she hits her teens, it could be a totally different story.
