Zest in Quest

Continued from Anytime Tarot for Everyday People: Pick a Card, Any Card

 

For me (and although I suspect my most dominant C.A card will always be certain aspects of the Emperor), I would have to describe myself of late as being heavily under the influence of April, or Spring's Fool. That is, a Fool guided by an optimistic nature or organic, gullible sort of hope, and an exuberant willingness to pursue my passions while ignoring naysayers, Kingly fears and standards, and turning certain fundamental flaws into sources of unique or creative power -- traits that are found in the Pages of all suits, recognized or accepted by the Queens, or that are relative to, in my case, my C.A cards.

 

This Fool's zest in quest is further backed by the transformational commitment "to do" of the Magician and driven by the unconditional love and renewable aspects and causes of the Empress.  And after too long a period of High Priestess extremes, Wheel and Judgement difficulty, Hierophant hassles and more than a dash of the Devil's obsessive darkness and near Death experiences  (all of which pushed my Foolish Strength, Hanged Man's self sacrifice, and Page of Swords resolve to the limit at times), I am so grateful (as in the Queen "I'd like to thank the Academy…" of Cups) that this aspect of myself can still spontaneously and authentically emerge as a dominant source of empowerment.  Of course, now that I'm aware of it, have "looked down" as it were, I guess I'm already transitioning to another phase. Figures.  Now the effort to sustain it all begins.
