November 17: Moon in Cancer square Mars in Libra
Putting the Self in Self-Healing
Some kind of mental or actual peace is disturbed by the square between the moon and Mars that perfects shortly after noon on the west coast, and it seems wise to breathe deeply and mindfully through this tense, argumentative energy, or work it off physically, while opening our minds to the places we’ve become too attached or complacent.
Just before 2 p.m. on the west coast, the moon slides into tropical Leo in a trine to Chiron, and we may find a way to heal the rough edges through playful abandonment or receiving (or giving ourselves) some individual support or attention.
The next few days will see Mercury retrograde acting up again before he turns direct at 11:12 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, so if we can find healthy ways to bring in some extra peace and calm amid the restless energy of today, we can inoculate ourselves against the tendency to overreact to the unexpected tricks and chaos just around the bend.
