July 12: Progress in Essential Conversations

Mercury goes direct at 1:26 a.m.

The sun is trine Neptune Rx at 11:43 a.m.

Just after midnight, Mercury in protective Cancer moves direct. Any struggles with communications or Mercury related themes like message delivery, information, and technology, to some extent, will begin to lessen and smooth out from here. Mercury is in sensitive Cancer until August 4, so we still have a while left to navigate through this emotionally vulnerable time. At least we will start moving forward and may feel as though we are making some progress in our essential conversations.

Late morning, the sun in Cancer forms a water trine aspect with Neptune in Pisces. This trine brings energy and conscious awareness in contact with the dreamy and transcendent themes that Neptune emphasizes in the empathic Two-Fishes’ sign. We have an opportunity to see ways to make our dreams more of a reality now.

The moon is square the sun at 4:29 p.m.

In the late afternoon, the moon in individualistic Aries forms a square aspect with the sun in nurturing Cancer. This aspect marks the last quarter phase of the lunar cycle, and from here, the moon will continue to lose light until the new moon phase on July 19. This period in the lunar cycle is a time to begin turning inward; however, this square aspect may stimulate one last burst of activity before we start powering down this week.

The moon is square Jupiter Rx at 7:25 p.m.

The moon is square Pluto Rx at 10:03 p.m.

By evening, the moon in potent Aries forms a square aspect with Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn, bringing the restless and perhaps reactive emotional mood of the moment into conflict with this year’s heavy realities. The square with Jupiter may inspire exaggeration and indulgence, while the square with Pluto soon after may amplify frustrations. This lunar aspect is an emotional window into the urgent feelings and challenges we will often face as the rest of the year unfolds.

All the aspects mentioned are calculated in Standard Pacific Time, for greater accuracy please adjust to your own location.
