June 9: Restlessness and Urges
The moon is square Uranus at 10:30 a.m.
The moon is sextile Chiron at 10:31 a.m.
The late morning begins with a current of impulsivity, as the Aquarian moon forms an edgy square aspect with radical Uranus in Taurus. This catalyzing aspect may be felt in sudden restlessness and urges to break out from our routines and limitations. Since the moon relates to emotions, this square with Uranus’ erratic planetary energy may induce a bit of anxiety, if we feel we need faster results and more of an outlet for this energy than we can access quickly.
At the same time, the moon forms a supportive sextile with Chiron, the asteroid of healing old wounds, in fiery Aries. The restlessness and anxious feelings the moon/Uranus square may induce may lead to insights and breakthroughs on themes of an individual or collective healing and evolution. It’s a morning where make or break emotional crises may put us in contact with dimensions of ourselves that are tricky to reach. The sextile aspect hints that this awareness may be helpful and constructive today.
The moon is trine Venus at 12:15 p.m.
Shortly after noon, the moon in eccentric Aquarius forms a powerful air trine with Venus currently retrograde in talkative Gemini. This aspect is sweet and hopeful and promotes a loving, affectionate, and creative mood. It’s too bad it’s only a fleeting aspect, but that means it’s important to know it’s active so that we can make the most of it.
The moon/Venus trine can open opportunities to deepen our bonds with loved ones and can inspire us to attract beauty, luxury, and even wealth to ourselves. Under this trine, our access to life’s pleasures feels more natural, and we can readily open loving conversations.
