May 15: Sudden Visions Appear to Guide Us

Moon is sextile Uranus at 9:41 a.m.

Moon is square Mercury at 9:57 a.m.

Friday begins with the moon in sensitive Pisces forming a collaborative sextile with Uranus in abundant Taurus. This is an aspect of sudden emotional insight and creative expression. We may be sharing new perspectives with those close to us, letting them in on our inner feelings and reality. This could even present as a tuning into psychic forces, where sudden visions appear to guide us in a direction that seems to be navigated from the soul territory deep within.

Around the same time, the moon forms a catalyzing square aspect with Mercury in mutable air Gemini. Since neither of these planets is malevolent in their energies, this square aspect will not likely present any extreme difficulty.

It could, however, have an amplifying effect on the moon and Mercury, opening the floodgates and activating very emotional, yet chatty connections. It may be difficult to cut these discussions short, or to put limitations on them if time is of the essence. Communications will potentially go “off-road,” becoming epic and entertainingly tangential.

Mercury is sextile Chiron at 1:22 p.m.

In the afternoon, Mercury in Gemini forms a supportive sextile with Chiron in bold Aries. The profound emotional insights of the day and the long, explorative conversations that have unfolded, are likely to have some value for topics that we may feel some wounding on.

This sextile opens a channel to speak to what may be coming up from this wound that many of us are carrying long term. In Aries, the wound that is highlighted for the collective is in expressing individuality and self-authority in a balanced way. Mercury’s strong communicative currents may be helping us access and understand this topic with a new perspective.
