May 25: Seeing Ourselves in a Kinder Light
Moon is sextile Uranus at 7:34 a.m.
Moon is trine Mars at 7:58 a.m.
Moon is square Chiron at 8:05 a.m.
Monday’s lunar aspects all occur in the morning, setting the tone for the rest of the day. First, the moon in Cancer forms a collaborative sextile aspect with Uranus in grounded Taurus. This is a somewhat stimulating aspect, and since the sextile is supportive, this is less likely to be edgy and disruptive.
Instead, it may have an awakening effect on the emotions of the moment, intensifying awareness, but also prompting some expression that comes from any early morning realizations. This could be energizing, and may even inspire some early morning movement practices like yoga or another exercise.
This stimulating moon/Uranus aspect is followed up by a potent water trine aspect between the nurturing moon and assertive Mars in emotive Pisces. This aspect may continue to infuse the morning with activation, most likely toward a physical movement that is rejuvenating and restorative.
Again, a morning of yoga, stretching, and other physical practices that are supportive, but not aggressive or depleting. It also supports emotional depth, clarity, and further expression. With the trine aspect to Mars as a motivating and enabling force, it could also manifest as a strong feeling that inspires a decision.
At the same time, the moon is engaged in a cardinal square aspect with Chiron in assertive Aries. The emotional and likely physical stimulation and motivation of the morning are blending with a catalyzation of awareness on matters of long-term healing and woundedness.
This morning may inspire an overall focus on our relationship with our bodies and self-care. If there are any topics of contention here personally, perhaps arising out of being our own worst critic, or a lack of self-love, these reflections may motivate us to find a way to heal these habits and reframe an opinion of ourselves in a kinder, more forgiving light.
