November 16: Overeager
The moon is trine Mars at 8:21 a.m.
The Sagittarius moon is trine to Mars in Aries this morning, creating an easy exchange between our emotions and passions. With both of these influences in fire signs, the first part of the day is excellent for activities that require physical stamina and creative willpower. It should also be easier to express romantic affections during this transit. Arian Mars doesn’t intend to be quiet about its intentions, and the Sagittarius moon makes us eternal optimists, confident that love will stand the test of time—even if boredom happens to overtake us the next moment.
The moon is square Neptune retrograde at 1:07 p.m.
In the afternoon hours, the moon squares off with Neptune in Pisces, generating confusion and bursting the optimistic bubbles of the morning. Challenging moon-Neptune aspects can make us feel as though we are stuck between past memories and future dreams, blocked from access to either. However, this is predominantly a projection, as the more we focus on blockages, the more Neptune will oblige our fantasies of failure or stagnation.
Under the Sagittarius moon, we can rile ourselves up, making ourselves upset over nothing. Ultimately, there is no reason to rush. The cure for these frustrations is to be as present as possible.
The moon is sextile Venus at 11:55 p.m., and moon void of course begins
Just before midnight, the moon creates a sextile with Venus in Libra, restoring harmony to our interactions. Reflecting on the day, we can clearly discern where we were out of step with the organic flow of time in our eagerness and enthusiasm. Now that circumstances feel more balanced, we can laugh off the days’ stressors. Following this connection, the moon begins its void of course, which will see us through the duration of a night filled with peaceful dreams.
