November 28: Peace and Relaxation
The moon is sextile Neptune retrograde at 8:29 a.m.
In the morning hours, the Taurus moon creates a fluid sextile with Neptune retrograde in Pisces, facilitating artistic inspiration. Our senses are engaged, and we can instinctively connect with others through aesthetics and beauty. This is an especially good influence for meditation, tai chi, yoga, or other grounding spiritual practices that engage the body. Although we might not be the most communicative at this time, we don’t need to be, as the mood is light and we can get by simply relaxing in good company and soaking up the atmospherics.
Neptune is direct at 4:36 p.m.
In the late afternoon, Neptune stations direct in Pisces after a five-month retrograde. Neptune rules the mystical, idealistic, and nebulous. While it can connect us to divine inspiration, it can also cloud our judgement. During Neptune retrograde, the veil of illusion is somewhat lifted, allowing us to see the artifice at work beneath the rose-colored glasses, but now, as it stations direct, the fog of confusion returns, particularly amplifying media distraction.
This transit could indicate a return to some semblance of “normalcy,” as we gather in entertainment venues and extended family gatherings to romanticize the season of holiday cheer, avoiding acknowledgment of the underlying problems that have kept us socially distanced for much of 2020.
The moon is trine Pluto at 6:40 p.m.
In the evening, the exalted Taurus moon creates a healing trine with Pluto in Capricorn, facilitating deeper relating with loved ones and granting the ability to unpack old traumas. During this influence, we feel at peace, able to assess our worth differently, valuing ourselves more and better. We see the benefit of adapting our circumstances so that we can manifest the tools and resources we need to thrive. Because we are more receptive to change, we are less haunted by it.
Mercury is sextile Jupiter at 6:51 p.m.
Shortly thereafter, Mercury in Scorpio forms an auspicious sextile with Jupiter in Capricorn, making us concerned with fairness. Despite Mercury’s severity here, we can be discriminating without being accusatory, doling out justice in a manner that is shrewd, not revengeful. We may be interested in matters of law, religion, or philosophy at this time, as they provide an outlet for our inquisitiveness for which there is already much canonical debate and reference to fall back on in the hunt for answers.
The moon is trine Jupiter at 11:53 p.m.
Just before midnight, the Taurus moon trines Jupiter, promoting feelings of relaxation and the confidence that things will turn out as they are meant to. We are generally optimistic under this influence, with the conviction that we have the materials we need to ensure our growth and success. Because we are not hampered by stress, we can take our time in making decisions and lining up our ducks so that our plans can function properly. We are equally generous, seeing philanthropy as an essential act of karmic balance.
