October 10: It Gets Worse, Before It Gets Better

October 10: It Gets Worse, Before It Gets Better

The moon is square Mars Rx at 3:05 am

The moon is opposite Pluto at 3:36 am

Saturday begins with an edgy square between the nurturing Cancer moon and Mars in impulsive Aries. This aspect creates a short passage of friction and the potential for hurt feelings. This aspect sets the morning up for potential emotional blockages and frustrations that may worsen before they get better.

Shortly after, the Cancer moon comes into a perfect opposition with Pluto in authoritative Capricorn. This opposition creates a T-square aspect between the moon, Mars, and Pluto, creating an emotional showdown that could cause stress and power struggles. Fortunately, this aspect happens so early in the morning that it may not affect our day-to-day affairs all that much, but we may rise with a lingering sense of unease.

The moon is opposite Saturn at 9:04 a.m., and moon void of course begins

Later in the morning, there is a continuation of emotional frustrations and blockages, as the empathic Cancer moon forms an opposition with stern Saturn, at home in Capricorn. This aspect may heighten our awareness of the need for emotional boundaries and challenge us to maintain these. The moon void of course begins now, so it’s best to just focus on tying up loose ends for the rest of the day.

Venus is trine Uranus Rx at 4:08 p.m.

The moon enters Leo at 5:24 p.m., and moon void of course ends

As the heavy aspects of the morning fade, the late afternoon beings with a shift in mood as Venus in Virgo forms an earth trine with Uranus in Taurus. This aspect may bring some surprises in our love life or connect us to a renewed sense of affection and intimacy. Sudden feelings of attraction may arise, or we could meet a surprising person from outside our typical circles.

The workday ends with an upbeat lunar shift into proud and passionate Leo. The moon void of course also ends now, so the rest of the evening and all day tomorrow provide new opportunities to set our projects in motion. After two days of potent and stressful cosmic weather, the Leo moon offers a refreshing change of pace, helping us feel reinspired and enlivened.
