Prismatic Snow: A Meditation for Saturn Retrograde

April 17, 2018

Today, we have the wounded healer Chiron entering Aries, the sign of new beginnings, as well as Saturn turning retrograde for the next five months. To get the results you want, now is the time to attend to your healing and take care of any unfinished business.

As Saturn retraces his steps, this transmutation meditation is the perfect place to start.

Curious about what this Saturn retrograde means for you? Find out with these horoscopes!

Find a quiet space and make yourself comfortable. Take one slow, deep breath to reconnect to your own magic. Then dive all the way into this vision and see what happens.

PRISMATIC SNOW

See yourself standing in a wide-open natural place. This place is so open that you can see infinitely far in every direction.

See your thoughts as objects spread all over the ground. Every thought, every emotion that crosses your mind becomes a three-dimensional object lying on the ground.

Soon, you find yourself surrounded by the physical evidence of everything that is on your mind.

As you survey this scene, call forth and embody a radical, unconditional compassion, an expansive, kind spirit, as you look over it all.

Begin to be aware of a beautiful, prismatic, snow-like substance falling softly from the sky and gently covering and transmuting your assortment of thoughts, memories, projections, and emotions with tiny prismatic snowflakes that catch the light.

This snow is magic.

As it falls, you can see the structure of each “snowflake.” Each one is different, and each one reflects pale, rainbow-colored pieces of light.

Just sit back, breathe, and watch this gentle, light-filled, prismatic snow drifting down.

When everything is covered with soft, prismatic snow – all reflective white and shining with pastel, rainbow light – breathe and let yourself experience some kind of deep, beautiful, healing transformation.

(Read this last section, then close your eyes, enter the vision, and experience it!)

Let the snow completely cover and then melt away those objects of thought and emotion, leaving you with a pure, pristine state of mind.

Breathe and encourage any feelings of peace you may feel. Know yourself as brand new in this moment and feel the slate has been wiped clean.

Stay still and awake to any insight that arrives.
