Nearly 2.17% of the world’s population will be able to see any part of this eclipse (around 176,000,000 people).

When are the Leo and Aquarius Eclipses taking place?

This is the first eclipse we are having on the Leo-Aquarius axis since 2017. The upcoming eclipses in Leo-Aquarius will take place from 2026 and 2027. Eclipses repeat at the same degree and zodiac sign on a nineteen-year cycle, so the eclipses that we will be feeling now will echo themes that occurred near 2008 and 2009. The eclipses taking place going forward on this axis will be: Solar eclipse in Aquarius (29 degrees) on February 17, 2026; solar eclipse in Leo (20 degrees) on August 12, 2026; Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (18 degrees) on February 6, 2027; Solar Eclipse in Leo (10 degrees) on August 2, 2027.
